How to do the Reports steps on My Day: open Reports, pin a report to My Day, build your own report and export one to Excel.

Get Started: Reports
The Reports topic on My Day is for people who view reports or build them. You see only the steps your permissions allow: building needs the report builder, and exporting needs permission to export reports.
Open Reports
Click the Reports button on the toolbar. The menu opens with a period selector (it defaults to This Quarter), headline cards and the reports grouped by register or program. Type in Search reports to find one.
Pin a report to My Day
Use the pin toggle on any row of the Reports panel. A pinned report becomes a live tile at the top of My Day. A tile's menu sets its size, whether it appears on My Day, the Reports home or both, and lets you unpin it.
Build your own report
- Open the Custom group and choose a subject in Report about.
- For each field, choose Group by, Measure or Filter.
- Pick a Visualization: Table, Bar, Line or Pie.
- Click Run to preview.
- Click Save to keep it. Switch on Share with everyone in the tenant to share it.
You only see the registers your roles let you open.
Export a report to Excel
In the report builder, click Export to Excel to download the full result. The step ticks when you export a report.
Guide me, Practise and Mark complete
Each step in the Get started group on My Day has one main action and two icons.
- Guide me (the training icon) highlights the real control on the real screen in at most four short steps. The control stays usable, Tab reaches it, and Escape closes the tour. Guide me never opens a case for you. See Guide me.
- Practise appears on steps that have a training case. It opens train mode, where you work on fictional cases and nothing is sent, delivered or published. See Train mode.
- ? opens this page. Mark complete ticks the step when you have already done it another way.
A step ticks itself when you do it for real. Practising in train mode ticks only the Practise steps. For the whole group, see Get Started.
