Assignment Coverage Report

The Assignment Coverage report is the single place to see delegated work across all three kinds of assignment in AccessPoint: request custodian assignments, assessment section assignments, and complaint investigation workstreams (which are themselves custodian assignments, grouped under the complaint). It answers who is carrying what, and where that work is stalling.

What This Report Shows

• Who is carrying what — delegated work broken out by assignee, across custodian assignments, assessment section assignments, and complaint workstreams together.
• What is overdue, what is waiting on a reviewer, and the rework rate — how often submitted work is sent back rather than approved.
• Two custodian-only integrity checks: work submitted with no attestation behind it, and searches with no repository recorded — gaps specific to custodian assignments, since a section assignment or a workstream carries neither an attestation nor a repository.

A Current-Position Report

Unlike most reports in this menu, Assignment Coverage describes where things stand right now, not activity inside the period you've selected. The panel carries an as-of banner instead of narrowing its headline figures to the date range — a submitted assignment sitting unreviewed since last quarter is still exposure today, and filtering it out by date would hide exactly the stale work the report exists to surface. Where a figure genuinely is period-scoped (assignments created or completed in the period), it is labelled as such.

Reading the Figures Correctly

• Overdue means outstanding, not submitted. Once an assignee submits, the wait belongs to the reviewer — a submitted assignment is never counted as overdue however long it sits waiting. Look at awaiting review for that queue instead.
• Median days-to-submit is measured to the latest submission. An assignment returned for changes carries forward the time its earlier attempts took, so read this figure beside the rework rate rather than on its own.
• Attestation and repository figures are custodian-only. An assessment section assignment or a complaint workstream cannot carry either, so these two checks are read against the custodian assignment count, not the total across all three kinds.

Using This Report

• Export to Excel to share the breakdown or investigate a specific assignee's load further.
• This is different from arranging a personal delegation to cover your own work while you're away — that's a temporary access overlay on one person's queue, not the assignment activity this report measures.
