Audit Root Causes
Settings → Audits → Root-cause categories holds the root causes that audit findings are classified by. Each finding records one in its root cause part, and the Audit Findings report breaks findings down by it.

The Baseline List
The Universal baseline ships:
- Governance and accountability
- Policy or procedure
- People and training
- Process design
- Technology
- Third party
- Resourcing
Editing the List
Like other choice lists in Settings, each category has:
- A name in each language.
- A position, set by dragging.
- An Active setting.
Use the list to match the way your organization talks about causes, so that the root-cause breakdown in the reports reads in your terms.
