Incidents report — discovered/closed/open KPIs, cause and risk breakdowns, open-inventory aging

Incidents Report
The Incidents report is the analytics view over your privacy breach and incident register — how many incidents were discovered and closed over the period, and how much remains open right now. It draws on the same live incident records you work in every day, so the figures always match what's on the Incidents dashboard.

What This Report Shows
- Discovered / closed / open KPIs — headline counts for the selected period, plus how many incidents remain open. The open count reflects the current state of the register rather than only period activity, so it doesn't hide older cases still sitting open.
- Cause breakdown — incidents grouped by cause, drawn from the incident cause choice field your tenant configures under Settings.
- Risk breakdown — incidents grouped by the privacy risk they carry, tying incident volume back to your risk posture.
- Open-inventory aging — how long currently open incidents have been sitting, so you can see which ones are overdue for attention rather than just how many are open.
Using This Report
- Use the period selector at the top to set the reporting range; Edit inline and click Apply to refresh.
- Where the report supports it, use Compare to see the previous period alongside the current one.
- Click Export to Excel to work the figures further.
- Pin the report to My Day. The incidents tile surfaces average days to notify as a forward-looking signal — how quickly notifications are going out once an incident is discovered, distinct from the period counts above.
