Incidents register dashboard — breach register, stat cards, and reporting a new incident

Incidents Dashboard

The Incidents Dashboard is the home screen for privacy officers and ATIP staff who track privacy breaches and security incidents. It lists every incident you can see, with the tools to find one and log new work.

Incidents Dashboard

The Incident Register

The grid lists every open and closed incident you can see, with status, risk-of-harm band, and notification status all visible at a glance — so you can spot what still needs containment, assessment, or a statutory notice without opening a record.

Stat Cards

Quick-filter tiles across the top summarise the register — the same click-to-filter, click-again-to-clear pattern used on every register dashboard.

Reporting a New Incident

Choose Report incident on the toolbar to open the dialog — you need the incident-report permission. Reporting is intentionally low-friction so front-line staff can log something quickly, then refine it later. See Creating Incidents for incident type and governing authority, discovery, cause, linked subject, and affected scope.

Shared Dashboard Mechanics

Search, filtering, sorting, column configuration, and saved views work the same way here as on every other register dashboard — see Requests Dashboard for the mechanics and Dashboard Views for saving a working slice of the register.

Next Steps

Click any row to open the full Incident Details panel, where containment, risk-of-harm, notifications, remediation, and closure are worked from a row of tabs.
