Commitments Report

The Commitments report answers a simple question with real accountability behind it: did the organization do what it promised? It rolls up every tracked commitment — one-time and recurring — into open vs. completed figures, overdue aging, and cadence compliance.

What This Report Shows

• Open vs. completed commitments, so you can see the shape of your outstanding promises at a glance.
• Overdue commitments, with aging — how far past their due date the oldest open items sit.
• Recurring commitments with no check-in inside their own cadence — a recurring commitment that hasn't had a check-in logged within the interval it was set to.
• The proportion of regulator recommendations implemented. A commitment anchored to a complaint is a regulator recommendation, so this figure is read straight from the commitments register rather than tracked separately.

Reading the As-Of Banner

Commitments is one of the reports that describes a current position rather than activity inside the reporting period. The panel carries a banner with its as-of date, and the date range at the top of the Reports panel does not narrow these headline figures — an overdue commitment from last year is still overdue today. Where a period-scoped figure does make sense (commitments created or completed in the period), it is labelled as such, so the date control is never inert.

Rates State Their Own Denominator

"Completed on time" is measured only over commitments that carried a due date — a commitment closed without one can be neither on time nor late, so it is left out of that rate rather than distorting it. Likewise, where a group is invisible to a figure — for example, recurring commitments with no cadence set — the report states how many fall into that group instead of letting them silently vanish from the count.
