AccessPoint for Microsoft Teams

Work your caseload without leaving Teams — the full AccessPoint app, channel tabs, and activity-feed notifications that deep-link straight back to the record.

What the Teams app adds

The Teams app is included with every AccessPoint plan — and with the free trial. It loads the same interface as the SharePoint app, so install that first.

Personal app

The full AccessPoint dashboard directly inside Microsoft Teams — requests, assessments, incidents, and tasks where your team already works.

Configurable tab

Pin AccessPoint into a channel tab so a team, unit, or project space works from a shared view.

Activity-feed notifications

New assignments, tasks, reviews, and approaching deadlines arrive in the Teams activity feed, each deep-linking back to the relevant record.

Install it in your tenant

Three steps in the Teams admin center. You'll need a Teams Administrator or Global Administrator role.

1

Download the app package

Grab the current Teams app package from Realizer's artifact CDN — the same hash-published channel the rest of AccessPoint deploys from.

Download accesspoint-teams.zip
2

Upload it to your Teams app catalog

Open the Teams admin center and go to Teams apps → Manage apps → Actions → Upload new app, then select the ZIP you downloaded. The app is added to your organization's own catalog — it isn't published publicly.

3

Allow it — and optionally pin it

In Manage apps, confirm the app's Status is Allowed. To put AccessPoint one click away for your access and privacy team, pin it with an app setup policy scoped to that group.

Prefer it scripted? The Deployment Guide covers installing the Teams app with Deploy-AccessPoint.ps1 alongside the rest of the platform — plus prerequisites and troubleshooting.
